For the better part of the past decade my principle hobby and passion has been film appreciation. I spent several years working at an arthouse movie theatre, I've written film criticism at the high school, college, and now professional levels, and DVD purchases have tended to be my principle indulgence. There are few sensations I love more than to just lose myself in a film, to just be utterly engulfed and apart from this world.
